History of this Historic Inn

This property is truly special, and it is an honor for us to share it with you. Located in the historic Marigny neighborhood, 2425 Chartres Street has an interesting history – once owned by a Sicilian-American family who operated a grocery at the front of the property (Front and Back Carriage Houses) and lived in the residential units behind. You'll find unique Sicilian-influenced details this family incorporated throughout, including arched doors, archways, mosaic tilework, and cabinetry with unique millwork. In 1995, the property was turned into B&W Courtyards and has been a neighborhood fixture ever since.
